Regular, consistent attendance at school is of the utmost importance for all students. Regular, consistent attendance at school sets a path for the appropriate academic and social development of a child. Student attendance is monitored by the school principal and vice-principal to ensure that appropriate attendance is taking place and to offer any supports to families that may be in need.
Student absences must be reported to the office by parents. If you know of absences that will be taking place in the future, please let your child's homeroom teacher and the office know. Daily attendance calls take place by the office when a child's absence has not been reported. Up to date parent contact information is of the utmost importance for this to happen to ensure the safety and security of each child.
